Meánscoil Feirste : ウィキペディア英語版 | Coláiste Feirste Coláiste Feirste is the only secondary-level Irish-medium school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Previously known as ''Méanscoil Feirste'', the gaelscoil is located in the west of the city in a new facility on Belfast's Falls Road. Founded in 1991 with just nine pupils, today the school has 579 pupils and circa 47 teachers.〔(Headteacher’s Welcome ) colaistefeirste.com, accessed 16 August 2009〕 The school was first situated in the Cultúrlann and was opened under the care of the first school principal Fergus O'Hare who was replaced in 2002 by Garaí Mac Roibéard as principal. He was then replaced by Micheal Mac Giolla Ghunna until 2015 when Garaí Mac Roibéardreplaced him to become the current principal. The school's uniform consists of a distinctive green blazer, jumper, and black trousers or green skirt.
